Dr. Hoda Hassan is a psychiatrist at Ohio State University. She was the recipient of an NIH grant studying the role of caspases in the immune system, which resulted in her authoring and co-authoring several research manuscripts. Dr. Hassan obtained her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. She completed her Psychiatry Residency at Hennepin Healthcare and Regions Hospital, where she served as a co-chief resident and was awarded a resident leadership award.

Dr. Hassan practices as an inpatient psychiatrist and is primarily interested in PTSD, mood, and psychotic disorders. She has been involved in various community initiatives, such as leading a Somali Covid-19 vaccine task force, and she currently mentors several residents and medical students.
